After choosing the drive on which Vista should install and starts copying I'm getting an error.
Not remember what error, but I think it has to do with a driver: http://superuser.com/questions/797296/vista-can-create-partitions-but-cant-install, does it need one? In the time Vista was out, there were no SSD's yet, does Vista not support SSD's?

HP Pavilion laptops feature a small partition at the start of the drive that includes HP System Recovery, a program designed to back up files, restore the operating system and enable administrators to perform troubleshooting on the PC. System Restore, on the other hand, resets the PC to a previous state, but it only affects the system files, not the rest of the data on the hard drive. If your laptop is malfunctioning, before sending the PC in for service and leaving your business without important equipment for days to weeks, try using HP System Recovery or System Restore to fix your laptop.
HP System Recovery
1.Connect the power adapter to the Pavilion. Disconnect all other devices and cables.
2.Restart or power on the Pavilion. Click 'Start All Programs Recovery Manager Recovery Manager.'

3.Enter your administrative credentials, if prompted, and then click 'Yes.' Choose 'System Recovery' from the far-left pane.
4.Click 'Yes' when the message 'Would You Like to Restore Your Computer to Its Original Factory Condition?' appears on-screen.
5.Click 'Next' to restart the PC and boot to the recovery partition. Click 'System Recovery.'
6.Choose 'Recover Without Backing Up Your Files' from the options. HP System Recovery will wipe all of the files on the PC. Click 'Next.' Click 'OK' to restore the Pavilion. Click 'Finish' to restart the HP.
Alternatively, to back up your data before proceeding, select 'Back Up Your Files First,' when prompted, and follow the on-screen directions.
System Restore
1.Click 'Start All Programs Accessories System Tools System Restore.'
